Color study

In the past few days I’ve really learned just how much a little water and a little paint can change a whole page. Especially on the color wheel, focusing on the give and take of just a little green and a little yellow can turn out to drastically change the color you are mixing. I’ve enjoyed this process because it showed me that if you take more time, even a few seconds the way the shading and colors turn out can really make or break everything.

Siddhartha

Siddhartha is about a young boy who is suppose to live a life of becoming a Brahmin just like his father but deep down he knows there is more to life then becoming a Brahmin. He practices the rituals or religion that should all bring him happiness and inner peace and yet he still feels none of that and still is missing that feeling of happiness. Then one day a group called Samanas passing through their town begging for food, they believe that enlightenment comes from asceticism, the rejection of the body and physical desire and siddhartha believes that they might have the answers he is looking for. Siddhartha quickly picks up the ways of the Samanas because of the discipline and patience and practiced with the Brahmins, he has learned to free himself of the traditional ownerships of life, his desire for property, clothing, sexuality and everything that he felt like he needed to live. Ropes and chains

I really enjoyed the rope and the chain and how symmetrical and even I got them throughout from beginning to end, I was a little sloppy in some areas and went outside the lines in certain areas so I will need to make sure to slow down on my next page.
